Domains in the whitelist will never appear in the consider disavowing list, despite any other qualifying criteria. These domains are usually added for two reasons:

Domains in the whitelist that are not principal referrer or shared referrer domains will appear in the following lists:

Populating the whitelist

The whitelist is populated in three ways:

Visualising the Whitelist

In the main visualisation of a report interactive, the 'Whitelist' view re-colours all domains to indicate their domain type. All domains NOT in the Whitelist are dimmed.

Viewing the Whitelist domains

The all_domains_* worksheet in the MS Excel file for a report contains a Whitelist column. Filter this column for 'yes' to see only domains in the Whitelist.
